Afro Samurai

Role: Creative Director, Designer

I was the creative director and primary designer for the release of the Afro Samurai series and following movie. In addition to concepting and designing all packaging and supporting advertising, I closely collaborated with the Japanese production staff to develop and create the majority of promotional art, some of which was used on the accompanying album by RZA.

Riverboat Gamblers

Over the year’s I’ve designed a number of releases for the band, who I have a long history and friendship with. Underneath the Owl is shown here along with a 7″ single and split 7″ with Andrew W.K.

Crayon Shin Chan

Role: Art Director, Designer

I designed 3 seasons worth of releases for Shin Chan which had a long stint on [adult swim], and remains an iconic Japanese title that continues to be in production since 1992
